Comfort Inn & Suites Plattsburgh - Morrisonville

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. I will give it a 5-star rating as a package for its price. Location - Excellent Rooms - Slightly dated, but they did a pretty good job; it looks pretty new. There's no bad smell, unlike other hotels. Pretty clean, nice service, free coffee and water all day long. comfort bed. Breakfast - Average but good Staffs - Super helpful Surprises- Little water park very good for kids. There were two lifeguards and it was clean. There is an arcade (you need to pay) for kids as well. A brewery for adults. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

I was happy with the place. No complains at all. I’m a big Hilton fam so this did not disappoint. The restaurants are not far from here.

The rooms are a bit dated but management does a great job of taking care of issues quickly if you just tell them. I posted some negative experiences on here and management quickly handled most of the issues so revised my review. I may visit again due to the quick service. The front desk young lady was pretty awesome too and quickly replaced my broken iron and ironing board. Morning staff could do better at looking up, smiling, and saying good morning to people as they are leaving. Housekeeping is generally okay with replacing items but cleaning can be a bit more thorough as I did see roach droppings in the bathroom and food still on the carpeted floor.

We stayed last weekend just for a overnight trip with the kids. The amount of activities for the kids was crazy. They had a terrific time. Room was nice and clean. Just the pillows were not good. I guess I could of asked for more. Otherwise we will be back.

I stayed here for about three months with my job, The staff was amazing. The rooms were great and the accommodations and location was amazing being in the middle of everything and everything being very accessible I would like to give a huge shout out to such a fantastic hotel staff. I’ve stayed in many hotels for work this ranks in one of my top three due to the friendliness helpfulness and all over amazing hospitality. The staff offers one day I found two kittens working and could not leave them. I called the hotel and they told me it would be no problem at all to allow them to stay with me in the room. This was all over an amazing experience for a long stay, Even if you are staying for a short period of time, it would still be amazing with the accommodations inside the hotel with the waterpark the morning breakfast the gym sauna arcade and bar. Attached is a photo of one of said kittens who would not be here today if your staff Did not allow me to bring him back with me. A huge thank you for my company to yours!

Awesome place to stay! Nice rooms, in house eating at PBCO (Plattsburgh brewing company) Brewery. Short wait for food & very delicious! The beer/wine/ cider is self serve. They give you a card to purchase, 20 to 30 choices on tap. There is also, currently, a Perkins in house as well. There is an indoor small waterpark. The biggest attraction though, is the game rooms!!!! 2 small ones near bar area. I did have to goto the 1st floor to get a prepaid game card to play games at bar area. Was sent to the basement 1st & wow! What a trip it was there. I spent 10 minutes just in awe & taking pics of all of it!!! Bumper cars, tons of games (most of which I’d never ever seen before). The best thing in basement was the putt putt golf course! 9 holes & walls painted so fantastic with black lights to bring the walls to life!!! After finding no one around, I proceeded to 1st floor by a stairway( again all walls painted very cleverly with some black lighting. I was mesmerized! Then, I was totally blown away by the “MAIN” game room!! More & more & more games I’ve never seen before!!! Another 10 minutes of pics & finally stopped at counter to get a game card. My dinner had arrived at the bar & was cooling off fast after my self elongated trip to get the card, but I still took a min to talk to clerk about this awesomeness. She said they were planning to take over the Perkins to expand the already amazing collection of games they already have!!! CRAZY . BUT SOOO SERIOUSLY COOL BEANS!!! I gave the rooms $ service a 4 only, as I felt rooms & halls could have been a bit cleaner. Found bits of flotsom & jetsome on carpets in both. Bathroom, clean enough, but bottom of inside of toilet quite stained ( could have been easily cleaned w/ minimal effort & proper cleaners) & lots of dust bunnies in cracks by walls & tub ( where it should have been caulked or grouted up to tub wall). Few Paint spatters in tile grout that came out in seconds with my trusty small pocket knife. The grand foyer needed a good sweeping & mopping even a spot clean would have helped! I don’t mean to be too picky here, but when we splurge for a hotel room, we expect a bit more attention to detail. The breakfast was ok, food good, great eggs, (real fried eggs reheated! Not the typical powered scrambled fare). They had 2 different kinds of batter for waffles (color of batter gave that away). I had to taste the darker batter to find out it was added cinnamon that made it darker). A sign or a label would be a nice touch!!! Tables needed cleaned, chairs a bit worn & also needed cleaning. I did not see a breakfast hostess till we were leaving (we did watch a delivery guy bring in 4 very full dollies of food supplies) our hostess had been sitting at a separate table w/ a fruit or coworker, enjoying her breakfast!! How nice. I only know she worked there because she went in the back & came out with a new tray of eggs!! I gave an over all rating a 5 as the good outweighed the “not so good”. Maybe I nit picked a bit & maybe they are a bit short handed w/ staff & we were there on a Monday night. Turns out the front desk clerk was also the breakfast hostess… haha We do plan to stay there again. We’ll be traveling through several times a year now as our daughter & her fiancé will be living in VT during winters for the foreseeable future & we previously stayed across the street at the Days Inn our 1st trip & drove over to eat at the PBCO Brewery which we really enjoyed. One last thought, for some crazy reason Spectrum cable in that area, Plattsburgh, has THE MOST DIFFICULT channel selection!! I almost can’t explain it. You have regular numbered channels, but have to remember the 2 digit code & the dash & another #

Solid atmosphere with plenty of activities onsite. Full bar with arcade and lots of group activities available such as axe throwing and a golfing simulator.

I can't complain. Room was clean, breakfast as expected, and location wonderful. For me was basically in and out and I got what I paid for
